Peter Jaggard

Peter Jaggard, M.D. has been practicing internal medicine for over twenty years in the Chicagoland area. His current medical practice is in geriatrics.

A member of the American College of Physicians and the American Geriatrics Society, Dr. Jaggard currently serves as Medical Director at Lake Forest Place and as a staff physician for Presbyterian Homes, a continuing care retirement community based in Evanston, Illinois.

He received his BA in philosophy from Wheaton College and his MD from the New Jersey Medical School.

His special interests include end-of-life decision-making, terminal care, and local church education on bioethical issues. He authored the chapter on advance directives in the Center's book Bioethics and the Future of Medicine: A Christian Appraisal (Eerdmans, 1995).

Dr. Jaggard lives with his wife, Diana, and their three children in Winnetka, Illinois.
