James C. Moscato

Director of Education and Conferencing

 

Rev. James (Jim) Moscato, M.A., is the Director of Education and Conferencing for The Center for Bioethics and Human Dignity and has been with CBHD since 1998. He has a B.A. in business administration from Carthage College and an M.A. in bioethics from Trinity International University. Jim was ordained by the Evangelical Church Alliance (ECA) in August, 2000.

Mr. Moscato is retired from Abbott Laboratories where he was a Systems Project Manager in Quality Information Systems. In his last position at Abbott he managed project teams involved in the development of and installation of major computer systems worldwide.

In his previous positions at Abbott Jim managed and coordinated the development and deployment of short term and long term major quality manufacturing operations and computer operating systems. He also previously supervised four MQA areas on three shifts at two sites while traveling to and from the Abbott plants in Germany and Puerto Rico. In recognition of his efforts he received the Abbott President's Award.

Jim is also teaches pastoral interns, step-parenting and works with the senior high ministry at his church. He has taught 5th and 6th grade and junior high Sunday schools as well as bioethics to high school juniors and seniors. He is active in church and community affairs and has public speaking experience.

Jim and his wife Paulette have 7 children and 16 grandchildren.
