Letter on "Therapeutic Cloning" Published in New England Journal of Medicine, Calls for Ban on Practice

In tomorrow's New England Journal of Medicine will be published a letter to the editor calling previous Journal articles addressing the ethics of "therapeutic" cloning and embryonic stem cell research "inadequate." The letter is signed by a number of experts including C. Everett Koop, M.D., former Surgeon General, John F. Kilner, Ph.D., President of The Center for Bioethics and Human Dignity, and Edmund Pellegrino, M.D., Emeritus Professor of Medicine and Medical Ethics.
