The Science Alliance for Life and Technology (SALT) engages in science research, education, and publishing, with a special focus on the science and ethics of nascent human life. Our foundational belief is that each human being is precious, and science should reinforce this premise. We are a nationwide collaboration of highly-credentialed scientific experts and policymakers with well over one-hundred years of collective experience, committed to guiding science with strong ethical standards. SALT works to shape technologies that protect life and serve human dignity, and to season the debates about nascent human life with accurate science and human-centered ethics.
