Nursing programs provide numerous Christian Institutions of Higher Learning (CIHL) with a firm pecuniary base in a climate of crumbling values and deflated admission volumes. A question to consider is, “How, if at all, does the Christian university impact the developing bioethical framework of currently enrolled nursing students?” This paper will explore the impact a Christian university has in the bioethical perspectives integrated into undergraduate nursing curricula. A comprehensive literature review using EBSCO Host, ERIC, JSTOR, OVID, and public databases will be conducted. The author posits that the findings from the literature review will yield random results. The author further posits that the results of the literature review will clarify the need for a more coordinated and intentional methodology in cultivating baccalaureate prepared nurses with knowledge and skills to engage in complex bioethical issues with an attitude of understanding the Christian perspective.
