What are the current models for relating science and theology? How can scientists and theologians communicate with each other effectively? These two questions form the backdrop for the presentation of a new model for relating science and theology. This paper begins by presenting an overview of the four models used to relate science and theology—independence, conflict, dialogue, and integration. A new model—dynamic dialogue—is developed and presented as a more effective means of communication between scientists and theologians.
