Ken is married to Lori, and they live in Southern California with their three kids ranging from sixteen to twenty-one years old. Ken is a professor of Old Testament at Talbot School of Theology, Biola University where he loves teaching graduate students. He earned a PhD and a MPhil from Hebrew Union College, an MA from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, Trinity International University, and a BA from Moody Bible Institute. Ken has published Donkeys in the Biblical World, Judges and Ruth, and For Us, but Not to Us. Currently Ken and Lori are coauthoring a book about their health journey that explores how to read the Bible when hurting.
