This session will discuss some of the current trends in health care ethics consultation and education, including the area of rural health care ethics.  Are there differences among urban and rural geographical settings that make ethics consultation and collaboration unique to each setting?  If there are differences, how do we better educate our health science students for the unique challenges such differences may present. In addition, how is the field of bioethics keeping up with the current transitions in inter-professional education of our students as well as of our health care providers?   This session will explore these topics and offer some practical and forward thinking suggestions for practice and education in bioethics.
